The Grisly Mira Road Murder Case

A Shocking Tale of Deceit and Brutality

In a shocking and disturbing turn of events, the Mira Road area of Mumbai was left reeling after the gruesome discovery of a woman's dismembered body in a flat on June 7. The accused, Manoj Sane, was arrested and has since confessed to the crime, revealing a dark and twisted tale of deceit, brutality, and desperation.
According to police reports, Manoj Sane, a 56-year-old man, had been living with his live-in partner, 32-year-old Sarita Vaidya, in a flat on the seventh floor of the Gita Akashdeep building in Mira Road. The couple had been together for three years, but their relationship was marred by tension and violence.
Police investigations revealed that Manoj was addicted to sex and had been using dating apps to connect with other women. This had led to frequent arguments between the couple, with Sarita accusing Manoj of infidelity.

On the morning of 7 june Manoj rane's neighbour was left for work and when he crossed manoj's apartment he sensed a foul smell coming from manojs apartment then he knocked on his door but no one has opened the door then he said out loudly "ki kaise log hai Ghar main chuha mar gya hai aur unko koi farak hi nhi padra" after that he heard someone sprayed perfume all over the apartment the strong smell of perfume was coming out of his apartment then the neighbour knocked again and this time manoj answered and opened the door he seems really polite neighbour asked him about the smell coming out of his apartment he simply replied that maybe a dead rat has been stuck on his pipeline the neighbour replied that I can help you manoj denied and said that I'm getting late for my work we will do this work after we come back from our work .
Manoj had left the flat, telling neighbors that he would return by 10:30 pm. However, when he failed to return, neighbors became suspicious and alerted the police.

When police arrived at the flat, they were met with a horrific sight. Sarita's dismembered body was found in three buckets, with her limbs and torso severed. The police also found a pressure cooker and utensils containing human flesh, as well as a blood-stained electric saw.

Manoj was arrested and during interrogation, he confessed to the crime. He claimed that he had killed Sarita in a fit of rage after she had discovered his infidelity. He also claimed that he was suffering from AIDS and was impotent, which had led to tension in their relationship.

The police have since recovered a plastic bag containing a blood-stained electric saw and a pressure cooker from the flat. They have also found evidence of Manoj's online activities, including his use of dating apps and visits to pornographic websites.

The Mira Road murder case has sent shockwaves through the community, with many expressing outrage and horror at the brutality of the crime. The case has also raised questions about the safety and security of women in live-in relationships.

The Mira Road murder case and the Shraddha Walker murder case share some striking similarities. Both cases involve a live-in partner murdering their significant other in a fit of rage, followed by attempts to dispose of the body in a gruesome manner.

- Brutal murders : Both murders were extremely brutal, with the victims being dismembered and their bodies disposed of in a horrific manner.
- Domestic violence : Both cases involve allegations of domestic violence, with friends and family members reporting that the victims were regularly physically abused by their partners .
- Investigation and arrest : In both cases, the police investigation led to the arrest of the accused, who later confessed to the crime.

Differences

- Disposal of the body : Manoj Sane disposed of Sarita's body in three buckets, while Aaftab Amin Poonawala disposed of Shraddha's body in 35 pieces, using a 300-litre fridge to store the body parts .

As the investigation continues, one thing is clear: the Mira Road murder case is a grim reminder of the darker aspects of human nature and the devastating consequences of unchecked desire and desperation.
